Thermally enhanced oil recovery methods, such as in situ combustion and steam injection, are generating considerable interest terms of improving reserve exploitation satisfying demand economic growth. However, the early breakthrough front significant amount heat loss associated with injection for deeper reservoir applications main challenges that require urgent solutions. Further data collection related to effects a reservoir’s physical chemical properties, temperature, pressure on propagation transfer inefficiency would be needed achieve better recovery. Most studies have focused application catalytic systems investigation minerals’ stabilization; however, effect clay interlayers’ minerals performance is still poorly understood. This paper takes new look at role played by stabilizing using X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry (TG), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) combined nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), tube experiments. The studied samples’ compositions were analyzed XRD, TG/DSC, NMR techniques.
